IP 17 Siebel Setup for Upgrade

Dear Team,

For IP 17 Siebel upgrade from current Siebel 8.0.0.12 - wanted to confirm on Siebel Enterprise setup approach.

1. Our new Database - referred for IP 17 is - copy of existing DATABASE - which is on 11g

2. When we run Siebel Server - we need to follow - Installation guidelines for Existing Database.

3.Install - Gateway / Siebel App -- POINT Siebel to STEP 1 NEW DATABASE.

4. Install AI (TomCat Server)

5. Install 19.7 patch for both point 3 and point 4.

6. Then proceed with Siebel Upgrade tasks.

Can you confirm these..

let me know if any steps are to added additionally.
