Essbase Server Out of Memory Errors

Hi Essbase Guru's

I'm trying to troubleshoot a problem with our AIX server hosting Essbase on-prem and looking for ways to test.

Problem

The server sporadically 'runs' of of memory, and when that happens we are unable to SSH onto the server, or have the automated backup processes complete. During these OOM errors, Essbase service, OPMN, EAS service are still up and functioning properly. To resolve this issue, I am able to log onto EAS and manually Stop and application, which frees up resources for an SSH session onto the server.

Technical Details

Essbase is version 11.1.2.4.026

AIX 7.1

I've checked the allocated amount of memory to the various caches spread out among all the essbase applications, and it totals to less than the total amount of memory on the server.
