Connection manager auto startup at host bootup

Does anyone know what the recommendation is for getting connection manager (cmctl) process to startup when the host (RHEL 7) restarts? I know I could make an entry in init.d but is a method using systemd now recommended? I am using version 12.2 now but will be moving to 19 soon. Does Oracle support have method they support for Oracle Linux 7 or RHEL 7? I did search around and did not find much.
