Hello, I'm hoping that someone has some experience in this area.

We are running Essbase on Exalytics and we are trying to create a load rule to pull data from MySQL being hosted on AWS.

We have configured the odbc.ini with the same host and port information that we use to connect using MySQL Workbench, however when we attempt to connect the load rule using the configured connection we receive the following error: ODBC Layer Error: [08001] ==> [[DataDirect][ODBC MySQL Wire Protocol driver]Connection refused. Verify Host Name and Port Number.]

Normally we connect to SQL sittiing on-premise, so this is our first attempt at a hosted database and first attempt with MySQL
