Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Tax Rate Update for Japan

Hello,

Japan Consumption tax is changing as of 1-OCT-2019. Starting 1-OCT-2019 it will be 10% and not 8%

So i end dated 8% tax as of 30-SEP-2019 and enabled 10% Tax as of 1-OCT-2019

When i enter an order (in test instance) as of 1-OCT-2019 i dont see 10% Tax. It is not calculating tax at all.

But if i change the date to 2-Oct-2019 it is calculating 10% and if i update the date to 30-SEP-2019 it is 8%

Is it related to our server time which is in US ?

if so, how can we address this issue.

Weird thing is if i enter Manual AR invoice with 1-OCT-2019 i see 10% tax. This is not working in OM though
