Any experience importing a file from a file server that is NOT an E1 app server?

We are working on a merger and attempting to import a flat file into the F0911Z1 table.

The UBE Processing Option for the location of the file to 'get', is not finding that location.

The user, the JDE user, the Scheduler user all have access to the location but the UBE believes it is an invalid path.

Any info. on how to have a path recognized that is within the network ?

It appears to be used in bank file imports but we don't want to move the received file multiple times...
