Data Guard stability and compatibility between (far) different versions (12c R2 and 10.x)

Hi,

Probably an easy question.

I've been digging around the idea of Data Guard compatibility between versions. As far as I've found, MOSC Note: 413484.1 answer my question for hardware asymetric systems. It's possible on hardware end as long as the machine can move Oracle.

My problem comes at software side.

As far as I've learnt, Oracle Databases can sustain Data Guard on Physical Standby database if and only if they use the same Oracle master version (let's say 12cR2). I did not find, though, if is possible to have (even temporary) a Dataguard Physical relationship between builds.

Is any DG compatibility table out there, or is just not possible to raise a Data Guard system between different builds, such as 12cR2 and 10.x (or 11.x)?

Howdy, Stranger!
