How do I Increase Siebel gateway logging in Linux OS?

Having an intermittent issue with Siebel application, where it hangs for an extended period of time. We want to increase logging for the gateway to rule out issues with that part of the application.

We have increased logging on the Object Manager; but there have been no errors that appeared when log level has been maximized.
