How to take opening stock from CST_PERIOD_CLOSE_SUMMARY

Hi,

I wanted to take the opening stock of the items as on 1st of the month.

Please help on how to take the data. I need to take the data on any period.

I understand it is available in the table "CST_PERIOD_CLOSE_SUMMARY"

but which field shows the exact data on closer of the particular inventory period.
