Installing OEM 13.3.1 on Windows 2016

It is necessary to install

Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x64)

on Windows 2016 as the required libraries for both the OMS and the agent are not part of Windows 2016. Oracle says that OEM 13.3 is certified on Windows 2016. This is not the case as the operating system does not contain the necessary libraries for OEM.

Also we found that the PSEXEC method of adding an agent to a server didn't work.  However we were successful in installing agents by unziping 13.3.0.0.0_AgentCore_233.zip into directory on a target server and running the agent deploy script from the directory on the target server. This is very simple and easy to do.
