Validation for CW Time Cards to PO (Not Enough Funds)

Our business tends to experience a reoccurring issue with OTL to PO Transactions for Contingent Workers.
On a Frequent basis, Time Cards will fail to Interface due to the Purchase Order referenced in the Time card not having enough funds (AMOUNT XXXX IS GREATER THAN XXX ON PO XXXXXXX)
We have a solution for re-processing the failed transactions once the amount issue has been resolved by the Buyer, so I wanted to raise the question on future releases and validations.
Is anyone aware of whether there is a Patch etc. that prevents a Time card from being submitted/approved if there are not enough funds to cover the value of the time card?
