What is the functional difference between internal and external customers?
Hi,
When creating a new customer in OEBS 12.2.8 (and previous versions), one chooses an account type (External/Internal). In our instance, we have given all customers the account type "External", but we are considering changing some of the customers' account type to "Internal".
Can someone explain what exactly is the difference between External and Internal customers, that is whether they are handled differently in Oracle? Or does this field simply function as a descriptive field for the customer? I have seen the question asked several times before, but have found no answers.
