Orchestrator REST Connection Error

I am trying to create REST connection using Orchestrator, giving two errors either  "Exception": "com.oracle.e1.aisclient.JDERestServiceException: java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: 12" or sometime error related to proxy authentication (error code 407). How to solve this ? also in External REST connection setup I am using Proxy details but those need to be authenticated with username and password (authentication not related to REST API) but not sure how and where to authenticate those (this is related to 2nd error)
