Multi Level Planning BOM or PF

All,

I want to check if we can define multi level Planning BOM or Product Family and assign planning percentage for end items. E.g.

A001 (Virtual Item/Phantom)

  --AB001 (Serial Number)

     -- X001 (end item having planning percentage)

     -- X002 (end item having planning percentage)

Can we define above multi level BOM setup as Planning BOM or Product Family ?
