IP17 DEV to TEST and PROD Steps

in Siebel System Admin, Install and Upgrade (MOSC) Question

Hi,

We are in the middle finalizing /testing the upgrade (IP16-->19.7) and planning to move into TEST.

I understand that we dont have to run the lengthy UPGPHYS process. Are there any steps ( at least a highlevel) or documentation on upgrading the TEST environments? Any best practices while migrating to TEST? Do we have to create a migration profile etc?  How do we ensure server component definitions in TEST are retained after installing IP17?

Any suggestions will help.
