STOT used with consumable items

We are using STOT to transfer parts manufactured in one B/P and used as raw material to build something else at another B/P. This is working great but now we want to use it to purchase goods from one B/P and consumed and expensed at another. So the consuming B/P would have any inventory.

Any ideas on how to set this up so not to create item ledger records or an on hand quantity at the purchasing B/P? If this is not possible what would be a good method to dispose of these items?
