How are Transactional value of the inventory transactions determined in OPM lot costing?

We are process enabled org using Lot costing. During WIP completion, the child lots were yielded accidently with twice the quantity. Hence to correct the quantity, we performed a WIP completion return to all the child lots. Now after running OPM pre-processor and Create accounting, i dont see journal accounting entries generated. Looking at the transactional value in gmf_xla_extract_headers, i noticed that the WIP completion that was done first had 0 value though the WIP completion return does have correct value. Why is the transactional value becoming 0? I verified the lot costs are generated appropriately.
