Create Accounting does not create any accounting event

We created a new tax book, ran initial copy, ran depreciation closing period  (DIC-18) and create accounting. This worked fine. Then, ran revaluation for ENE-19, ran periodoc mass copy; additions, retirements and adjustments were copied.

Then, tried to generate accounting. No accouonting events were created.

The log file shows:

95349 There are no eligible transactions to account. Please update the parameters or submit the request at a later time when there are transactions

requiring accounting.

We are in R12.2.6

Is it necessary to run depreciation to create accounting?

Could anyone help me with this?
