Hi,

We want to upgrade GI to 19.4.0.0.190716 release. So, 19c brings rhel 7.

OUR environment : EXADATA 18.1.7.0.0 release, GI 12.2.0.1.180717, RDBMS 12.1.0.2.180831

Kernel requirements :

The following kernels are supported:

Oracle Linux 7.4 with the Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel 4: 4.1.12-124.19.2.el7uek.x86_64 or later
Oracle Linux 7.4 with the Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel 5: 4.14.35-1818.1.6.el7uek.x86_64 or later
Oracle Linux 7.5 with the Red Hat Compatible kernel: 3.10.0-862.11.6.el7.x86_64 or later
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.5: 3.10.0-862.11.6.el7.x86_64 or later

So, in our environment oracle user have uid 500 and dba group 500 :

[oracle@ed02db01 ~]$ id
uid=500(oracle) gid=1001(oinstall) groups=1001(oinstall),500(dba),1504(istprddba),1505(istintdba),1507(iliprddba),1508(iliintdba),2048(fidji),2049(iliad),2070(fmw),5000(bdrp)

Howdy, Stranger!
