How can I stop Matrix Parent updates from changing the Price Level on the child items?

Hi,

We have discovered that making any update in the Item Revisions screen of a Matrix Parent item results in the Sales Price Level (PLEV) of the child items to be changed to a 2.  (Changes to other screens like Category Codes do not have this impact.)  Is there a way to prevent this from happening?  We always set our items to 1 for this field.

Has anyone else experienced this?  I haven't been able to find any processing options that would seem to be connected to this.

We are in JDE 9.2 tools 9.2.2.5.
