Person Profile - Cannot delete content item

We are HCM 9.2 Image 25.  We created a free form content type to capture secondary titles.  When I open an employee's person profile and try to delete the title, it deletes the title on the screen and I click save.  When I exit the screen and come back into the screen, the title is still there.

Any help is greatly appreciated.  Thanks.
