Uncosted Journal Provider Legal Entity

  1. We have 2 Legal entities in the same operating unit.  Legal Entity establishments are established.
  2. I load a Projects Costed/Accounted Journal using a Project which has Org A belonging to Legal Entity A.  The receiving project belongs to Org A and Legal Entity A.
  3. When I load the journal, the provider legal entity is derived as the incorrect one, the one defaulted from the original implementation as the 2nd legal entity was added a few years after the original implementation.

Does anyone have this scenario / transaction where they can try and advise what they get?  Thoughts on why this may be happening?  I really don't want the legal entity to be wrong even though it's a pre-costed / accounted transaction.
