Pay Period setting on pay calendars
For 2020, we have 53 pay dates for our US weekly group (every Friday) but 52 pay period ending dates in the year. What is the effect of using 53 vs. 52 when running the CREATE PAY CALENDARS process in PeopleSoft? I know that number is placed on the calendar but need to know what else is impacted by that value.
Our Canada biweekly groups have the same issue, but 26 PPE's and 27 check dates in the year.
