Switching Job codes for multiple assignments within a year

In staffing module if the applicant is hired in California as a Nurse P for an assignment as w2 and then goes to Idaho for another assignment as Contract 1099 and then comes back as Employee w2 for 3rd assignment in califorina in a year.

What is the peoplesoft recommended solution for that.

1 employee record - multiple job codes for each assignment ?
