Installing RPMS manually or automatically on the ODAs X7

Hello everyone

We have a question on the ODAs and installing RPMs on it outside the conventional ODA patching 

We are working on a backup solution for our X7s ODA databases and VEEAM is what we would end up using to backup the oracle databases on our ODAs

This requires installing an agent on the ODA and part of that is to install a couple of RPMS

We can either do it by adding a repository to the ODA and install the required packages thru that repository so that it installs any dependencies along with it

OR

We can install it (required RPMs)  manually
