Position Name - Auto Sequence Number Generation

Hi Friends,

I have to create a Position with Automatic Number generation. The Position already has 2 segments and a 3rd segment needs to be created which should hold a 3 digit number. This number should get incremented each time when we create a position. Please could you help me out, how to achieve this?
