Close Periods with EPM Automate

Hello, I have a question.
The last week our client asked us to close periods so the users cant modify data in those periods, we already did it via "Close All Locations" and that. Now the client asked to do it via EPM Automate so they doesn't need to go to data management and do it manual.
The problem is that, the solution I found, the command "SetPeriodStatus" doesn't work with our application since it keeps "processing" and all but after like 5 minutes it just send the error message "EPMAT-6: Service Unavailable", like when the firewall or proxy its causing troubles, but it isn't that because its the only one command that give us that message.
