We have a situation, where we 2 assets for which would like to add asset in service with the date placed in service as 30 September 2019 and wanted application to calculate depreciation from 01 October 2019. with the current setup we have in place i.e pro rate convention are in place to pick monthly depreciation though places in service in the last day of month, which is business design.

i did tried multiple options like disabling the depreciation flag when running depreciation for September but didn't worked as soon as it was enabled and depreciation was run in October application picked up 2 mnth of depreciation.
