Employees TL Payable Time Stuck in SP Status

We have a large number of employees within the same company but different paygroups who have a Payable time status of SP.  These employees were all in the same paygroup until 10/16/2019 when we split the 1 paygroup into 2 paygroups.  Would this paygroup split have cause the Payable Status to be stuck in SP?  Has anyone encountered this?  What did you do to resolve it and avoid it going forward?

We are on 9.2 and PUM29.
