Running datapatch for Combo-patches

Hello,

After patching a combo patch on a database (JVM and quarterly patches), for instance, patch p30133203_180000_Linux-x86-64.

This contains a JVM patch 30133603 and a DB patch 30112122.

Both patches have a post-installation part, and for both we need to run 'datapatch -verbose'. One time in 'startup upgrade' and the other in 'startup (=OPEN)' mode.

 

Is it valid to do this only once, after running both patches, after starting the database in OPEN mode?
