What is the purpose / use of Consoldiation Delivery field in the Shipping Transactions tab of 12.2.7

We have recently upgraded from 11.5.10 to 12.2.7 and in the "Delivery" tab of the Shipping Transactions form, we observed a new field "Consolidation Delivery". We would like to know the use / purpose of the field so that we may use it if applicable. We also use WMS for the shipping org.
