How do we backup/recover the block chain tracking file ? ODA X5-2 SAN, 11.2.0.4

Hi MOSC,

How do we backup/recover the block chain tracking file ?

From the docs;

RMAN Fast Incremental Backups using BCT = Block Change Tracking file (Doc ID 262853.1)

     "RMAN does not support the backup and recovery of the tracking file."


We know that if it is missing or corrupted we can get;

     ORA-19755: could not open change tracking file

     RMAN-08606: Warning: The Change Tracking File Is Invalid

Which can result in all our incremental backups being useless (red text below) and only viable one would be the last full backup, no ideal at all.
