Benefits HSA arrears

When 10 month employees are not scheduled to work, they don’t get paid. Their benefit deductions go into arrears, and when they return to a paid status, the system will collect the retros due. I don’t think this happens with the HSA contributions. It should also go into arrears and then be paid upon return to paid status.We also have situations with new hires, If they don’t enroll in the system timely, the HSA doesn’t go into arrears. How do we setup this? Thanks in advance.
