Siebel - Not rendering properly after Chrome upgrade

Hi Oracle,

We upgrade chrome say every quarter primarily to keep our security patches upto date.

However we see misalignments in all our form applets(application wide) in the recent chrome v78 patch that we want to upgrade to. Please refer to dropdowns, field overlaps in the screenshot.

We are on Siebel  8.1.1.11 patchset 10(IP13).

1. Does siebel recommend only certain chrome versions ?

2. Is there a way in which we can fix this ?  or is it all in Siebel vanilla code that it is best not to override with our custom code ?
