Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Clearing Accounts in FA Book

Hi Team,

I have Questioned on FA Clearing Accounts at FA Book level. in EBS R12

1) Why would a company use the same clearing account as gain/loss?

2) Why would we not want to use different accounts for each to track the amounts clearly in GL?
