Split Distributions for Serialized Assets

PeopleSoft Purchasing Update Image 10 in December 2014 added the ability to record assets from receipts when there is a split distribution on the PO lines. The number of assets affected by this can be in the hundreds at any given time. PeopleSoft customers would like each serialized unit (that is, quantity of 1) split into fractional amounts across all of the distributions based on the distribution percentage. In addition, whether items are serialized or not, PeopleSoft customers would like a more automated mechanism of grouping these split assets under the same Asset IDs (and Serial and Tag IDs).
