Changing Pay Source on a Pay Type during the year

Hello,

Just wanting know if changing the Pay Source from 1 to H on a pay type during the year causes any issues. A user was wanting to do this but wonders if they need to wait to the first payment of the new year. BTW this is a Canadian payroll, E1 9.1.

Any info would be appreciated.
