JDE World - New SPC Code - how many time before implementation ?

Hello,

We plan to change machine for our JDE World 7.3 cum 10.

I will have to ask for a new SPC code and found the process in the knowledge site but   i did not find  how long to have a key ?  and when could i use it : immediatly or in the next year or ?? 

any expiration for my current serial number ?

so should i request for a new key as soon as i have the new serial number or wait last minute ?
