DomU vs Guest

Hi,

I'm currently working on a project to move from physical to virtual SAP servers. So far so good... Then I went into a SAP note 1817065 (https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/1817065 ) where some specific requirements must be fulfilled in order to correctly install the new SAP environment.

I'm currently thinking that and following SAP note, by "Preparation on DomU" they mean I need to install both "ovmd" and "xenstoreprovider" on the Guest VM machine and not on the OVM server. I also didn't understood so far, the real difference between DomU and Guest, and I believe (because I don't want to touch on any od the OVM servers, they are running some critical VM's that just can't be stopped nor lower the responsiveness).
