About security server setting during upgrade conversion

We are upgrading to E920 Tools 9.2.2.5 from E812.

Given below infrastructure:

  • A testing server installed with Oracle DB and Enterprise Server for testing and development.
  • A production server installed with Oracle DB and Enterprise Server for production. JDE System related tablespace reside on this DB.
  • Production Enterprise Server is the Primary and only Security Server in the setup.
  • Deployment Server is on separate server

We will run a trial data only conversion on DV920 which is pointing to testing Enterprise Server. When running table conversion for table upgrade, we have to turn off security server on Deployment and Enterprise Servers (setting the jde.ini SecurityServer parameter to blank).
