ODA X7-2M - "igb 0000:02:00.0: online testing starting" in /var/log/messages since 18.7

I patched an ODA X7-2M from 18.5 to 18.7 on Wednesday evening and since then the following message is appearing in /var/log/messages every 10 minutes.

Nov  5 19:23:44 xxxxx kernel: [ 1526.749105] igb 0000:02:00.0: online testing starting

The message doesn't occur on an X6-2L that was patched from 18.5 o 18.7 last week and I can't find much info on MOS or google other than it relates to the gigabit interface.

Does anyone have any further information ?
