CNC, DB and Operating System - JDE1 (MOSC)

12c Oracle Database standard edition installed and planned load the JDE 9.1 database into it.

Hi,

I would like to know that DBA has been installed the 12c Database  standard edition 2 (12.1.0.2.0)  on the database machine and we have not loaded the JDE database schema or did not run the platform pack yet.

So I would like to understand that what are prerequisite to run platform pack for the database load on the database machine.

I have doubts and suggestion required on the following activity.

1. since this is only the database machine, do we need to create the jde910 Linux user -  is it required for the database machine?

2. Increasing the max file.

3. Install the 12c 32bit client. --------------- On the database do we required oracle 32bit client to load the JDE database preplatform pack run.
