Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Hello Team,

What is the difference between a normal PSU & ProactiveBP release?

For example,are DB releases 12.1.0.2.190416 & 12.1.0.2.190416ProactiveBP the same?

Also,can i install a one off patch meant for 12.1.0.2.190416ProactiveBP release on a server having 12.1.0.2.190416 in it?

Will it cause any errors?
