Universal work queue perform is very slow after upgrading to R12.2.8. Any recommendation?

Hello,

After upgrading to 12.2.8 we are experiencing very slow performance

The document  "Performance Issue When Clicking Universal Work Queue Form (Doc ID 2557532.1) "  references two profile options  that are not in our Oracle instance. 

          "IEU: Queue: EMC Service Requests"

          "IEU: Queue: EMC Tasks"
