Case Sensitivity in Oracle Databases for JDE

Good afternoon!

We recently migrated from JDE 9.02 with SQL databases to JDE 9.20 with Oracle databases.  We have been told that all searches will now be case-sensitive, which our understanding was this is a feature of Oracle database.

After some digging, one of our users was told that Oracle databases themselves are not case-sensitive, but that this is usually something that can be configured on the front-end.  Is JDE configured to be able to handle this case-sensitivity switch?
