Planning audit trail - partial capture

Dear Members,

We are using Oracle Hyperion Planning on-perm 11.1.2.4.008. We recently enabled the Audit trail for our application to capture "Data" changes to planning. We could see any changes to the data via Planning forms or planning adhoc grid are getting captured. However when users use the Shared connection in smartview (WSFN|HP|server|Application|Plantype) format to submit data using HsSetValue function, these changes are not getting captured in the hsp_audit_records table?  

Is this a known limitation ?

Is there a workaround for this or is Oracle planning to fix this in future releases?
