Can I increase Windows server VM's live migration speed?

I realise that VM live migration speed is not the same for all VMs, due to things like different host hardware specs, network specs, different VM specs, etc.

In our environment I have noticed that Linux VMs live migrates much faster than our Windows VMs.

For example, at one site we have x2 OVS nodes:

Linux VM migrates take 37 seconds, and back again is 9 seconds

Windows 2012 AD server on physical disk (LUN) takes approx 155 seconds, and back again is 27 seconds.

Windows 2012 file server on virtual disk takes approx 175 seconds
