How can I copy RAC node to another, different RAC node?

I have two 11.2.0.4 two-node RAC clusters, one for prod, one dev.  I want to copy prod to dev. I currently backup with RMAN.

I've googled this but I keep getting lost in the "a dozen ways to skin a cat" weeds.  It won't hurt if I mess up dev, but still I'd rather not spend forever on this.
