EBS migration to new RHEL 7 servers

Hi All experts,

Need your favour

Apps version R12.1.3

DB version 11.1.0.2

We are planning to migrate our OS from RedHat Enterprise 5 for Oracle Applications Release 12.1.3 to RedHat Enterprise 7. I know this RedHat 7 is certified with EBS 12.1.3

We got a new server with RHEL 7 installed.can we use Rapid Clone (406982.1) process to copy existing EBS (database and application) to new Linux server with RedHat 7.Once copied to new server,can we then start upgrading our database from 11gr1 to 11.2.0.4 or 12c?
