How is the device type recorded on AUDIT_TLRPTTIME.RT_SOURCE when reporting time?

How is the AUDIT_TLRPTTIME.RT_SOURCE field populated to indicate the device used to enter/approve time on fluid (9.2 PUM 31)?

I see inconsistent values being saved in this field.

In general I see values of "MD" (for mobile) and blank for desktop.

However, when using the Weekly Time tile on a mobile device, this field is blank (i expected a value of MD).

And when using the Approvals tile both on desktop and mobile, "SYS" is saved in this field. It does not differentiate between desktop and mobile when the Approvals tile is used.
